Dark Horse Training Solutions is a Connecticut-based firearms training company specializing in basic pistol, concealed carry, home firearms safety and personal protection in the home training courses.  We provide quality firearms training, with a focus on empowering our clients success through proper education that develops responsible gun owners.  We offer the basic pistol course required for persons to obtain their license to carry firearms in the State of Connecticut.

Learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, safe firearm handling, storage, the difference between revolvers and semi-automatic pistols and the respective parts of firearms. Understand the basics of ammunition and storage. Explore the fundamentals of marksmanship (including the various shooting positions).  Our students leave our training classes comfortable handling, loading/unloading, shooting cleaning and storing a wide variety of firearms.
